7th October at 7pm
Belmont Picturehouse Cinema, Aberdeen

ScreenHI and goNORTH Festival Director, Amanda Millen will be a guest speaker in Aberdeen next month at the launch of The Aberdeen Film Networking night, which is back by popular demand at the Bar Below in the Belmont Picturehouse Cinema.

The free event will be held on the first Monday night of each month where filmmakers, actors and enthusiasts can come to share ideas, make connections and find out about opportunities in the North East (or further afield) A big part of the night is when ideas can be pitched and then put into action. It’s also valuable for people who want to advertise their availability for projects making it a hub for talent that can see projects through from start to finish.

The Belmont Picturehouse cinema shows independent, art house and mainstream cinema, so is a popular choice of film lovers in Aberdeen. The networking night will be held in the Bar Below downstairs from the cinema, where popular events such as Q&As with filmmakers as well as the likes of film quizzes are regularly held. The networking evenings are open to all levels of filmmakers, craft talent, actors and enthusiasts alike.
