Consent Forms

The filmmaker should get written consent from anyone who appears on screen for a substantial amount of time and store in the programme paperwork file.  The same applies to any copyright being used on screen - photos, moving archive, music, literary extracts or book covers, for example, they all need to be cleared with the copyright owner PRIOR to use or AVOIDED (more on this in I Don't Understand Copyright!).  This applies for locations as well.  Always get permission to film on private land, even some public places like the streets of London need Council approval.
