About

Bob attended the ScreenHI Podcasting Workshop, which was part of goSURF at Wave North Festival in April 2011 Wave North was the fringe festival that ran alongside the O'Neill Cold Water Classic Surf competition in Thurso He has been interested in Radio Broadcasting since he was a teenager when he first started collecting and listening to popular music Training opportunities in remote locations such as Thurso are thin on the ground so running the podcasting workshop was important for ScreenHI to be able to help in Bob's skills development.

Back in 1993 he got the chance to get involved in radio broadcasting when the Caithness Community Broadcasting Association was formed (later to become Caithness FM) who carried out two pilot radio projects A full licence was granted in April 1998 and he started presenting a Thursday evening show Future Legends which is still running today He is a Director of Caithness FM and head of Training and Fundraising In 1994 he also joined Radio Remedy, a hospital radio station, in Caithness General Hospital in Wick He has presented a Tuesday evening show since 1994, Slipped Discs as well as filling the role of Chairman and head of training at Radio Remedy.

We have provided this area of our website for companies and freelance practitioners that ScreenHI has worked with in the Screen and Broadcast industry based in the Highlands and Islands to showcase, network and profile their work and craft.
