About

In March 2011 Catherine first worked with ScreenHI when she successfully applied for the HI-Arts Making Progress scheme where she gained the opportunity to be mentored by ScreenHI through the production and editorial process She made four films about four artists to screen at their 2011 exhibitions at the Museum of Inverness and had an invaluable few months doing this Through this project she was lucky to meet and network with a lot of great people and has worked hard at delivering the films in a professional and timely manner, which is why ScreenHI decided to offer Catherine the 6 month Edit Indiepreneur role from July 2011 to January 2012.

Catherine is a filmmaker from Lochaber.  Since graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone's Time Based Artcourse in 2008 she has been living between Fort William and Glasgow working on various art and video related projects: making visuals for nightclubs, volunteering her video and non video skills for arts and community groups and events, and when timetables have allowed, making her own more 'experimental' art films She is currently completing a 6 month contract with Glasgow based Indie Media Co-op.

We have provided this area of our website for companies and freelance practitioners that ScreenHI has worked with in the Screen and Broadcast industry based in the Highlands and Islands to showcase, network and profile their work and craft.
