Maria attended the Radio goNORTH Production Course delivered by our partners Dabster during goNORTH 2012 This involved co-producing and presenting live shows the day before and during the two day fesitval, from researching, structuring and scripting ideas to recording packages for the live show.

Marial is a Scottish Singer Songwriter with many years experience in various genres from folk to rock to blues. She has always been keen to promote self help groups and co-operatives, co-founding both Musicians Assistance And Development (M.A.A.D.) in Ross-shire and the international Artistic Freedom Collective. Through these organisations she ran several short festivals and showcase events across the Highlands Most recently she organised a couple of events for HUG (Action for Mental Health Charity) in conjunction with the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival 2012. She has been involved with events for SAYA drama group, Rising Stars music and drama group, as well as acting in the sell out production The World's Wife by Thistle Bee Theatre Company From 2007 to 2009 Maria presented her own weekly internet radio show on Nessmp3 Radio, called Girls Night In, which featured new/unsigned artists Plans are being discussed for setting up a regular Radio Show for HUG in 2013.
