Producer training course: 28th May – 8th June 2012
Do you want to be a Producer? …then goNORTH radio is for you.
We are providing a two week intensive training course in partnership with Dabster Productions that culminates in our live radio station throughout this year’s goNORTH, our annual creative industries festival on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th June in Inverness.
Gain experience in modern day digital broadcasting skills, train with some of Scotland’s leading industry professionals and network with commissioners, employers and freelancers currently at the very top of the Scottish radio and digital broadcast industry.
Areas we will cover:
- Radio presentation skills
- Interviewing skills
- Technical operations
- Digital editing
- Compliance and legal considerations
- Music programming
- Live session recording
- Commercial production
- Production of online content
This course is absolutely FREE
We will also provide accommodation (FREE) for anyone outside the Inverness catchment area.
Applicants must be based in the Highlands and Islands.
