MEDIA Antenna Scotland are on the road! Emma Valentine will present the opportunities offered by the MEDIA Programme in the areas of funding, training courses and networking events.
The MEDIA Programme is the European Union's financial support programme for the audiovisual industries The current budget of €755 million runs until 2014. There are multiple funding schemes aimed at different areas of the industry MEDIA also give grants to European training organisations and festivals and markets, all of which hold events throughout Europe.
The Roadshows are aimed at producers, writers, organisers of training courses, exhibitors, distributors, sales agents, operators in new digital technologies, operators of VOD platforms, organisers of festivals, markets and promotional events.
