Last weekend Moray College UHI, with partners XpoNorth and Hunted Cow Studios, hosted the fourth Moray Game Jam in Elgin.

23 game building teams arrived at the college campus ready to dream up a board game or a digital game with the theme If At First You Don't Succeed. The teams worked hard over the course of two days grabbing a nap when they could to put together a cracking game concept for the judges.

There were fantastic games produced from this year's Jam, the biggest Moray Game Jam yet! The Gaming Playground opened up to the public on Sunday giving visitors the chance to try the games. The judges had their work cut out for them playing and testing all the games - and of course considering the winners!

The winners for the Digital Games category were announced at the end of the judging as team Pocket Sized Games with their winning virtual reality game concept Pocket Sized Guns. See a preview of their game here.

For the Board Games category the winners were ENT Gamers with their card game Jailhouse Break.

Huge thanks and congratulations to all who took part and made this year's Moray Game Jam the biggest and best yet. We're already hearing about some of the teams continuing with their projects and we wish them the very best of luck.
