Scotland's film industry is getting a boost from a new fund that has been set up in the shadow of a good bout of films being made in Scotland last year. The McKendrick Fund will primarily support productions with a Scottish slant, which can be through casting, location and on and offscreen talent for example.

The McKendrick Fund is an exciting commercial opportunity to develop the film industry in Scotland, and we hope to reap some of the benefits for the Highlands and Islands The purpose of supporting film production in Scotland as well as working with Scottish talent around the world is innovative and offers producers and investors the chance to be part of a growing industry.
