Work In Progress (WIP) is a professional critical reading service for general trade and commercial market fiction and non-fiction for adults and children, screenplays, scripts for broadcast media and stage.

WIP provides writers with the opportunity to have their work read by a highly experienced professional assessor and to receive a detailed report on their work with observations and suggestions for further creative/content development and marketing opportunities.

WIP assessments are free, mutually anonymous and our reading panel is composed of some of the finest writers and agents in their chosen field who provide really useful advice on your project.

The project is open to writers living in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland writing in English.
