For the stage, Phil had script development and a rehearsed reading at Eden Court for his full-length stage play Gerry and the Glasshouse through HI~Arts and the Playwrights’ Studio Scotland He was mentored by Douglas Maxwell also through the Playwrights’ Studio Scotland, which resulted in a full-length stage play Rhum, Botany and the Backlash, which he’s currently adapting for radio Phil is also writing and directing a short stage play The Errp Man for the Play Pieces festival of short plays, and successfully applied for the second incarnation of the HI~Wireless radio writing scheme, now teamed with ScreenHI, which involves mentoring and immersion in the whole production process for an online radio broadcast.
