Celtic Media Festival

The Celtic Media Festival's aim is to promote the languages and cultures of the Celtic countries on screen, in broadcasting and in new media.  They achieve this through partnership events throughout the year, ScreenHI is a longstanding partner of CMF Their primary activity is organising the Celtic Media Festival, which is supported by broadcast, film, cultural and economic development organisations throughout the Celtic countries The Festival is an annual three-day celebration of broadcasting, film talent and excellence from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany and the Isle of Man.

ScreenHI has been friends with Celtic Media Festival for a number of years, collaborating on such projects as Greenlight, which runs alongside the Celtic Media Festival in conjunction with Creative Loop each year Festival producer Catriona Logan ran a very popular session at goNORTH in 2012 drawn from her background in working as a Producer in Sport for many years She opened up the world of sports journalism and with some colleagues from those sporting days they gave a fabulous insight into working in TV sport.
