Maureen Hammond joined the goNORTH team in 2013 as a volunteer for the two day festival in Inverness. Most of our volunteers want to get into the creative industries or further establish themselves as practitioners so when the perfect opportunity arose at the end of June to expand Maureen's contacts and experience we hooked her up with a trainee role on a shoot out on the west coast of Scotland.

Since goNORTH is committed year round to support creative practitioners in the Highlands and Islands, creating this kind of opportunity is intrinsic to our ongoing development work.
