Lewis Based Filmmaker Has BBC ALBA Broadcasts

We are delighted to share the news of Lewis based Roddy MacLean’s success in making three documentaries for broadcast on BBC ALBA this month Earlier last week  Gairm nan Gàidheal (Call of the Gael) transmitted. A story about the Gaelic Arts Project, which funded drama in Hebridean communities to commemorate those who fought in WW1.

On Monday 17th November Fois ann am Fios (Finding David) airs as a repeat of last year’s documentary on the Russian Convoys and one woman’s search for closure. Then finally on Monday 24th November Beatha an Dèidh a’ Bhàis? (The Afterlife) transmits. A documentary examining various beliefs, past and present, on an afterlife.
