River City Shadow Scheme 2017

River City are now taking applications for this year’s Shadow Scheme which will run this Autumn.

River City requires writers who can tell a sustaining and gripping story for 60 minutes. We want to hear from writers who know the show, are passionate about it and can demonstrate that they can deliver a 60’ script.  
 
The Scheme is open to writers with a minimum of one professional commission in TV, Film, Radio, Theatre or Online. Applicants must be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the River City brand including its characters, the world and storylines. They should also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the issues facing Scottish people and be confident that they can deliver authentic dialogue and relevant Scottish stories.
