ScreenHI and XpoNorth Screen & Broadcast are collaborating with well known Scotland based screen Health & Safety consultancy Action Media Safety to offer a course in screen safety at Northport Studio in Elgin on Friday 1st April 2016 (no joke).

Glynn Henderson, an HSE Approved Safety Consultant on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR), of Action Media Safety is leading the course. Action Media Safety offer a wide variety of courses (visit their website here) and this one is entitled Managing Safety in Film and Television Productions which will furnish you with the basic knowledge you need to manage a safe and properly risk-assessed screen project.

The normal cost is £120 per person but ScreenHI and XpoNorth Screen & Broadcast are able to offer places FREE to practitioners based in the Highlands and Islands. The course is open to Event Managers or anyone in live production with a duty of care to the general public and their teams.
