If you can, don’t forget to come along to the seminar in Stornoway this Wednesday. The use of music in television and digital media is extremely important bringing great value to both the programme and potentially to the composer of the music. goNORTH Festival, PRS for Music, MG ALBA and HIE are hosting a panel session aimed at those that make the music (composers, artists) and those who use the music (producers, directors, editors, production managers) and looking more closely at the process from both sides of the speakers/screen!
This is a brilliant opportunity for musicians and filmmakers alike to find out more, ask questions and meet the people that can help you achieve your musical/filmmaking potential On the panel are:
Iain Hamilton, Head of Creative Industries, HIE
Andy Harrower, Head of Broadcast Licensing, PRS for Music
Duncan McCrone, Senior Manager, MCPS Scotland
