Louise attended the ScreenHI goSURF Podcasting Workshop, which was part of the Wave North Festival in Thurso in April 2011 Wave North is the fringe festival that originally ran alongside the O'Neill Cold Water Classic Surf competition in Thurso, however in 2012 it coincided with the UK Pro Surf Championships. Louise currently hosts two podcasts from Caithness on crafting and in particular Knitting and Textile Art, her passions!  She started up the craft podcast called Caithness Craft Collective and now has a listener base of 40,000 located around the world She was also interviewed by one of the leading knitting podcasters from USA, which was aired as a Scottish special for St Andrews day.

She is also Company Secretary of EnergyHunt Ltd - a renewable energy engineering consultancy based near Thurso, Caithness The company decided to start a monthly podcast to inform listeners, stakeholders and the local community of the exciting developments relating to wave and tidal energy in the North of Scotland.
