Highlands and Islands Enterprise’s purpose is to generate sustainable economic growth in the Highlands and Islands Iain Hamilton heads up the Creative Industries department Their backing through information sharing, guidance on government policy and strategy is invaluable so that we deliver the best and most effective service we can. They have supported ScreenHI via the umbrella company Creative Highland for the last two years (2010-2012) and have committed to a further year.

We have a constant open conversation with HIE in a number of areas, not just the Creative Industries sector In Autumn 2011 HIE approached ScreenHI to make a short film, Wave Culture for their Renewables Department to illustrate how much of life, culture and opportunity is associated with the sea, the coastline and waves of Scotland In addition ScreenHI have been part of the P4 Digital Healthcare discussions and events the Life Sciences team have been developing.
