1 x 10 min short film made by Toby Watts in collaboration with HIE

In Autumn 2011 HIE approached ScreenHI to make a short film for their Renewables Department to illustrate how much of life, culture and opportunity is associated with the sea and coastline of Scotland Centred around the Wave research centre in the Pentland Firth, the film explores just how much the waves and the sea are part of our lives and how renewable energies are the future This was a great opportunity for a filmmaker to get their teeth stuck into good 10 minutes documentary style film Toby Watts from Caithness successfully applied for the directing role and off he went scouring the coastline for people to talk to and across the Firth to Orkney to meet the faces behind wave research.
