Aviemore based Director, Rupert Shanks is off to Uganda. Or at least he will be if he gains enough support for his current film venture - The Batwa Project, a short documentary film about the mountain gorillas of Southern Uganda and the ancient Batwa tribe who lived in the forest for thousands of years.
He has a commitment from The Guardian newspaper to distribute the film on their website and they will be submitting it to film festivals around the world, but what he really needs is funds to make it happen. He has a campaign on Kickstarter with loads of exciting benefits should you chose to pledge some cash. Support your fellow creative practitioner in what sounds like an amazing subject and story worth telling. We wish Rupert success and will bring you more news on the project as it develops.
